Plans d'Hotonnes, the Chapel of Retord and Cuvéry, three doors onto a vast plateau. Three doors from which to observe the magic of winter, three doors, which, when entered, allow you to practice nordic skiing, snowshoeing and much more...

Glide at your own rhythm

This plateau with its ideal gentle relief for nordic sports, is an immense natural space where the rare isolated dwellings become the only reference marks between the many valleys and wooded peaks. Old legends and stories populate the area making the many kilometres of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or dog-sledge routes particularly attractive. Although there are few plateaus that allow for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, the Retond is on of these. After you have had your fill of snow-covered virgin valleys, give yourself an equally frosty, but completely different treat by trying out the Biathlon with a monitor at the Plans d'Hotonnes stadium... in the steps of our champions!

Plans of Hotonnes, a family resort

With its 13 slopes for downhill skiing coiled in a reassuring universe of medium-altitude mountains, the resort of the Plans d'Hotonnes deserves its reputation as a family resort. It provides a privileged setting for experienced and less experienced skiers alike. Ski school, the snow garden and the ski-lifts help beginners make quick progress, in a conditioned area. For the youngest, the resort has packed snow slopes for tobogganing and games park. Teen-snowboarders are also catered for with a snowpark for young riders looking for thrills.
