Anniversary of 100 years of exhibition at Brou!
Established in 1922 within the Royal Monastery of Brou, the Fine Arts Museum is celebrating its 100th anniversary! With collections dating from the 12th century to the present day, it is open to all cultures and all types of audacity, and builds a bridge between heritage, contemporary creation and the issues that run through society today. The 374 works on display form a 6,000 square meter tour! Regularly enriched by new acquisitions, this place is punctuated by temporary exhibitions on various subjects. From October 2022 to November 2023, this anniversary will be celebrated as it should be, showing the evolution of the museum from yesterday to today, while projecting itself towards the museum of tomorrow. Numerous events will be proposed as well as focuses on works or artists such as Gustave Doré! So, whether you are a history buff, an art lover, in search of an escape or looking for new experiences in a completely crazy place, come to Brou!
