We are professional beekeepers, and we are committed to protecting our foragers. We offer local honeys such as: spring honey, flowers, acacia, forest, mountain, lime, fir, buckwheat - royal jelly - berlingots, white nougat. Having been amateur beekeepers for ten years, in 2017 we naturally decided that this shared passion would become our profession.
Virginie was the first to take the plunge and become a professional beekeeper. She is currently working full time on the development of the business, while Laurent has maintained a professional activity until he can join her.
Previously based in the commune of Marboz (01), at the end of 2019 we were able to move to a Bresse farm in the commune of Pirajoux (01), where we built our new honey house, installed our breeding apiary, our royal jelly laboratory and all our equipment.
Today, our main activity is honey production, and from the 2021 season we have been able to offer for sale swarms and queens from our own rearing, as well as royal jelly produced by our own hives and harvested by us.
Beekeeping is above all a passion, combining breeding, botany and observation of our environment. It's a wonderful link with nature, and the opportunity to offer a multitude of honey-based products. With this in mind, and given that we are first and foremost beekeepers, we work with craftsmen to develop quality products. Anything we can't make ourselves, we have made by passionate craftsmen. The quality of what we offer is always at the heart of our concerns.
Finally, although Laurent is originally from the south of France, we have established ourselves in the département where Virginie was born, because the Ain département offers an uncommon diversity of landscapes (plains, mountains, forests). Its agriculture and climate make it an ideal location for beekeeping. Without the need for transhumance, we can produce completely different honeys, rich in fragrance and flavor.
