Planetarium session at the Observatoire de la Lèbe: Voyager, the never-ending journey
Présentation
The Lèbe observatory invites you to embark on an extraordinary adventure of celestial dreams and curiosities, and enjoy a unique experience thanks to high-definition digital equipment.
For 1 hour, comfortably seated (reclining seats) under the 7-metre diameter dome, you can watch :
- The film "Voyager the never ending journey": In 1977, NASA launched Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 to study the most distant planets in the Solar System. These two probes profoundly changed the way we look at and learn about these distant worlds. Today, after more than 40 years, they are continuing their exploration of the farthest reaches of interstellar space, carrying with them a message about a hypothetical form of extraterrestrial life.
Film in French.
Ages 8 and up.
- A scientific mediator will help you discover the current starry sky: constellations, planets, nebulae, galaxies and other deep-sky objects.
The sessions are based on total interactivity with the public.
It is not possible to enter the auditorium while a session is in progress.
We advise you to arrive at the reception desk 15 minutes early.
Online booking.
