"The Blind Man with Starry Eyes" - planetarium session at the La Lèbe Observatory
Présentation
The Observatoire de la Lèbe invites you to embark on an extraordinary adventure between dreams and celestial curiosities to live a unique experience thanks to high definition digital equipment.
During 1 hour, comfortably installed (reclining seats) under the dome of 7 meters in diameter, you will attend :
- The screening of the film "The Blind Man with Starry Eyes": A tyrant asks a wise old man to tell him the secrets that would allow him to extend his
power. The wise old man gives him only one answer: "look at the sky and count the stars". The tyrant begins to count. Little by little, his quest for domination is transformed into a quest for knowledge.
- The intervention of a scientific mediator allows you to discover the starry sky of the moment: constellations, planets, nebulae, galaxies and other deep sky objects.
The sessions are based on total interactivity with the public.
It is impossible to enter the room during a session that is in progress.
We advise you to arrive at the reception desk 15 minutes in advance.
