A world waiting to be discovered, where precious memories will be made
No one will blame you for wanting to come here alone! In fact, early in the morning or late in the afternoon, nature photographers can often be spotted throughout the park. Quiet as a mouse, they survey the park’s 24 regional habitats, looking to capture the perfect shot.
Many visitors bring their picnic basket to enjoy a family day out – the kids will love chattering away with the curious parrots, squealing with delight as lories come and land on their hand.
For the parents, it’s time to relax! Hang out on the terrace and grab a drink while you wait for the free-flying bird show to begin. In any case, the children are already having a blast!
Mesmerising! A sense of adventure every step of the way!
Wandering down the path, watch out for the Humboldt penguins practising for the afternoon’s performance. Crowned one of the top animal shows of its kind, it’s sure to be the highlight of your trip! An enchanting ballet of colours and charm reflects the hard work and passion of the park keepers who train pelicans, cranes, hornbills and parrots, delivering a truly unique performance. On the other side of the park, a new 27m panoramic tower gives you a lookout over the whole park with an incredible 360° view of the Dombes Meres and even as far as Mont Blanc!
Don’t miss the fantastic Musicales du Parc Festival which takes place every summer! A chance to see the park light up as night falls, with an eclectic programme of music echoing sounds of the continents of the world. Discover a new artist or see an old favourite in a really special setting!
