100% natural butchery, delicatessen and catering. Le séchoir du Bugey is committed to local, artisanal production, sourcing only fresh, seasonal, farm-grown produce from local professionals.
Le Séchoir du Bugey, a butcher's and delicatessen, works exclusively with farm products, mainly from local producers. Our 100% homemade products are natural and healthy. Our products are made without coloring agents, chemical preservatives or nitrate salts.
In 2024, the butcher's shop is proud to have won the title of "most original sausage in the world" with its dry sausage with Bleu d'Indrieux, another medal-winning local cheese speciality, produced by the Gaec du Perce-Neigne in Arandas.
Numerous other victories had already rewarded the teams, and the dryer's approach, with three gold medals, at three different competitions: Gold medal and Saucisson d'or for the nitrite-free dry farmhouse pork sausage with Comté du Jura, at the Saucicréor international competition. Gold medal for the nitrite-free dry farmhouse pork sausage, at the Mondial Rabelais du Meilleur saucisson. Gold medal for rosette de porc fermier sans nitrite, at the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Eden Porc competition.
